Tara's Finally Blogging!!

Here I am....for some reason my dad seems to only like to comment on Max....What? Just because he is the good looking one in the family doesn't mean you have to leave out your other children. Haha, just kidding. But here is a little bit of what I have been up to this summer.

Two of the funnest things I have done this summer are the first the Wasatch Back Relay which was in June. I ran 177 miles, from Logan to Park City, in a relay team of 12 girls. Each girl had to run 3 different legs, ranging from 4-8 miles each. My 3 legs totaled 18.5 miles. We took 29th out of 183 all-women teams. I can't wait until next June to do it again!!!
My running partner in crime - Erin Prince and I
at the finish line - Main Street, Park City, UT

Second, I flew to Minneapolis just this last weekend to accompany Randall on his way home from his summer sales job selling security systems door-to-door. We had tons of fun playing in Minnesota and then we were even able to detour a little on our way home to see some sights....

We visited the bridge collapse sight - so sad!

Boy, do I know how to shop???

Cute brother and sister downtown Minneapolis - Calhoun Square

Visited sites like Adam-ondi-Ahman, Far West, Liberty Jail and Independance, Missouri visitors center on our way home to Salt Lake City. Below are some pictures of Liberty Jail. The reconstructed jail is INSIDE that octagon part of the Liberty Jail visitors center. It was really neat to freshen up on some of our church history and visit places like this.

Tara, Seriously, I (Andrea) want to do the run with you next summer. Am I too old? I can do the miles! Also, is The Mall of America the greatest mall ever? I couldn't get enough of it when I was there. And also, Morgan just returned from a two week church tour. She visited Liberty Jail, too. Thanks for the photos. You and Randy look great. Tell Max he only thinks he is the best looking one in the family. I beg to differ. Later.
